Launched in May 2016, Samuji Circular aims at extending the life cycle of Samuji clothes and accessories. Through the service, we offer an effortless way to both pass forward items no longer in use, and find pre-owned Samuji gems.
This is how it works:
1 - Register as a seller here
2 - Bring or ship your Samuji pieces to Samuji House.
3 - These pre-loved treasures will be made neat again and offered for new owners to purchase alongside new garments
4 - We take a share of the sales to cover our costs and account the rest to you.
How to participate as a seller?
After registration, wait for a confirmation email. Kindly allow the email to take up to two weekdays to arrive.
Then, bring or ship your items to Samuji House.
Use this address to ship and drop off your items:
Samuji Oy, Mikonkatu 3, 00100 Helsinki. Tel. 040 3507976
Our store is open:
If you choose to send your goodies, make sure to choose a trackable shipping method. Samuji is not responsible for lost deliveries. All delivery costs remain as seller's responsibility.
Once we get your items, we will price them and place them in the store in curated collections to make them look as good as they can. Each product gets a hangtag and our sales team takes care of the sales to the customers. In other words, we take care of everything in selling your treasures, you just need to pick what to bring!
What can I bring?
We welcome Samuji pieces from all past collections and categories: women's and men's, accessories and Koti - Home items.
You can bring one thing or twenty, the number is entirely up to you.
Make sure the piece you wish to sell is clean and intact. One way to evaluate your item's condition is asking yourself, would I hand this over to a dear friend to wear?
What do I get as a seller?
If your item gets sold, you will get 50% of the retail price marked on the hangtag.
Sellers get a 15% discount on their next Samuji purchase. The discount code will be sent by email after we've received your items.
The discount code will be valid for 6 months. The code can be used on our full selection, excluding gift cards, rental services and items from our third-party collaborators such as KIDE cosmetics, Toshiaki Hoshi Ceramics and SEES products.
Why is Samuji taking a commission?
We take commission because we need to work quite a bit with the pieces that you send us. Once we receive your item, we will make sure it looks beautiful in the store. First, we steam it. Then we figure out a price that we believe would sell well but also gives you the best possible return.
We tag each item with a unique Samuji Circular tag with your chosen seller name displayed on it. Samuji will reserve the handling costs and banking fees.
How do I get my money from the sales?
Sellers will receive their entire sales amount minus Samuji commission as a bank transfer for the total pieces sold within 14 days after the sales.
This is why your account number is asked at the time of registration. To make everything smooth, it's important for you to check that the registration format is filled in correctly.
What happens to items that are not sold?
We will sell your product for two months. After this, we will notify you, if your items are not sold, in order for you to pick them up, or let us keep them.
We can also ship the unsold items to you but unfortunately must charge the shipping costs from you.
If an item gets stolen in-store, Samuji will not be responsible. However, we will do our best to keep the store space well organized and safe to prevent this.
How is safety taken care of at Samuji House during COVID?
At Samuji House, we will do all we can to keep you safe:
1 - Only a limited number of shoppers are let to enter Samuji House at once, keeping a 2m safety distance to others.
2 - We offer hand sanitiser at the entrances of Samuji House. 3 - Our store staff wears masks and we ask shoppers to do the same.
