A strike in the transport sector in Finland may slow down both domestic and international deliveries. We ask for your patience. If you have any questions, we will do our best to answer them at shop@samuji.com.
General information
The products ordered from samuji.com are sold by Samuji Oy (Business ID 3202539-2 ), later “Samuji”. Samuji sells products to private individuals of legal age worldwide. All prices include sales tax following the Finnish taxation rates. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.
Ordering
Samuji sells products at samuji.com, where orders can be made through via the shopping cart. All prices include 0-24% VAT.
All orders are confirmed by email that has been given during the shopping process. The order confirmation states the products ordered, total price of the order, shipping costs and taxes.
When placing an order, the following terms and conditions must be agreed:
Order Confirmation
For all orders placed at Samuji.com Samuji will send an order confirmation email which provides:
- The order number
- The contact information provided
- Ordered products, quantities and prices
- The payment method chosen
Samuji reserves the right to cancel an order placed by the Customer in 4 days after the order is made, if products are sold out, despite of showing quantity at Samuji.com, or if a significant mistake is made in the pricing of the product. A mistake like this would be a significant difference to the normal price or the market price of the product, and an average customer could understand that there is a mistake in the price. An example of this would be for example if the price of an item is 1,00 EUR.
If the item sold is not available after all, Samuji has the right to cancel the entire order, or the product not being available. A notice of this will be made by email.
Payment methods
The products/services and applicable shipping fees will be paid when placing the order. The following payment methods are accepted: direct wire transfer from Finnish online banks (Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Aktia, POP Bank, Säästöpankit, OmaSäästöpankki, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken), credit/debit cards and MobilePay.
Payments are handled by the following service providers:
- Paytrail Oyj: online bank transfers, card payments and MobilePay
- Klarna Bank AB: invoice, payment by instalments, credit cards, and e-payments
These service providers provide a payment service, but do not change anything else about your relationship with us, Samuji. You are ultimately responsible for the purchases you make using these service providers. Also, Samuji is the one responsible for providing you the goods or services that you purchase using the payment services, not the service providers. The service providers make the best effort to keep your payment credentials secure. Each service provider has their own user terms of service. By using the service provider, you will accept their terms of service. Full terms of service are linked under.
Service Provider Paytrail Ltd (“Paytrail”)
Paytrail Ltd acts as a collecting payment service provider for online bank transfer and MobilePay payment in collaboration with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Ltd is an authorized Payment Institution part of OP Group. Paytrail will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Ltd will forward the payment to the merchant Samuji Ltd.

Service Provider Klarna Bank AB (“Klarna”)
Klarna payment methods are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. General information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on www.klarna.com . Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarnas privacy statement. Samuji offers three different payment methods with Klarna:

Prices and Shipping
Delivery time and carriers
Samuji online store delivery times are, depending on country and the delivery method, from 1 to 8 business days when products are in stock.
If different delivery times occur (eg. 'preorder'), it will be clearly stated on the product description. Shipping delays due to the carrier, weekends and holidays may affect the delivery time.
For deliveries in Finland, we use:
- Finnish postal service Posti for Standard shipping (1-4 days)
- Kotipaketti, parcel to home deliveries (1-4 days)
For delivers outside of Finland, we use:
- UPS Standard offers road transport and a foreseen delivery date door-to-door home delivery or collect from UPS Service Point (1-6 days)
- UPS Express Saver offers air transport and foreseen delivery date door-to-door home delivery or collect from UPS Service Point (1-4 days)
- UPS Expedited door-to-door service (3-8 days)
Shipping & handling costs
Shipping & handling costs include the cost of shipping, packing and free return. The shipping costs depend on the destination and delivery method chosen as follows:

Import Customs and taxes:
Please note that orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to import customs and taxes, which are applied once your delivery reaches your country. Please contact your local customs service for further information. Samuji is not accountable for any possible import taxes and/or duties, or any other additional costs. Once the packaging leaves the Samuji store, all additional costs remain on the customer.
Other:
If you refuse to accept the delivery or return your packaging in a way that causes additional costs, Samuji has the right to deduct such costs from the amount refunded to you.
Shipment tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking code for your package. You can check the shipping status of your package on the carrier's website:

Returns and exchange policy
We hope that you're happy with your Samuji order. However, if you want to return or exchange your purchase, please see the following instructions.
How to exchange?
If you want to exchange an item for a different size or color, please return it and place a new order. Samuji will refund you the shipping cost of the original order.
How to return?
An accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of Finland, you have the right to return and exchange any regular item purchased from the Samuji online store within 14 days of receiving your order. Please note that fabrics are made-to-order products and therefore they are non-returnable. Samuji offers free returns in Finland and Europe (EU).
- Check that all the items that you would like to return or exchange are in mint condition. To receive a full refund, the return right applies only to items that are in new, unused condition and in their original packaging.
- Check that you are in time. We will not accept returns or exchanges after 14 business days.
- Pack your return carefully and make sure that all products are in their original packaging. To respect the environment, we recommend you to reuse the original package whenever possible. However, always consider that returning products, they should be packed as well as possible, to retain the resellable condition of the product. When returning products that are fragile, we recommend to pay for extra careful handling to ensure that the product returns safely back to Samuji.
- Please pack your packing slip with your returned items
- Place the return shippinglabel on top of the parcel. If you are using the Samuji parcel, please make sure you hide the original shipping label.
- Take the parcel to your nearest collection point (please use the same carrier) - Posti, Postnord or UPS.
We recommend you keep the receipt of the return shipment until the refund is completed. When the return is received and accepted, a refund will be made to the original payment method. The time for processing a return may take up to 10-15 working days.

What if I don't have the return label in my parcel?
Finland: Please use our Posti return number: 671633 and take the parcel to your nearest Posti office
Other countries: Please contact us at shop@samuji.com
Non-returnable items
Please note that our fabrics are made-to-order products, therefore they are non-returnable
What is refunded?
Orders from Finland: if the complete original order is returned, the original shipping cost is refunded in addition to the cost of the goods. If the order is returned partly, only the cost of goods returned is refunded. If you want to exchange one item from your multiply item order, we will refund you the shipping costs as well.
Orders outside of Finland: the cost of goods returned is refunded.
If you have made a purchase with a discount where the total price is dependent on the total of the whole order (eg. Free shipping for orders over 300€), or on the number of items purchased influences the total price of items (eg. Buy 3 for the price of 2), if the return changes the right for reduction, the discount is cancelled, and the original prices are applied when calculating the return.
Who pays the new shipping, if I make an exchange?
Samuji will refund you the shipping cost of the original order.
What if I forget to pick up my packaging, and it’s returned back to Samuji?
If the order is not picked from the delivery location on time, or the home delivery cannot be delivered on the chosen time slot, the packaging will be returned to Samuji. From the refund of the order a fee of 8,90€ is deducted from the refund amount. Returned parcels will not be re-shipped. To re-order, please make a new order.
In addition to this, If you refuse to accept the delivery or you return your packaging and this causes Samuji additional cost, Samuji has the right to deduct such additional costs from the amount refunded to you in addition to the 8,90€ fee.
In case of a lost return
If a parcel is lost during transportation, and the customer cannot deliver proof of the shipment, Samuji is not obligated to make the refund of the items not received.
Force Majeure
Samuji shall not be liable to the Customer for not fulfilling the Terms due to causes which are beyond the control of Samuji Ltd., (such as war, acts of government, strikes, natural disasters or other causes of a similar nature) for the duration of such events. In these cases, the Customer shall not have a right for compensation from Samuji for breach of contract.
Other
Samuji reserves the right to change our terms and conditions. Customers are responsible for familiarising themselves with the terms and conditions before placing an order at Samuji.com.
Samuji handles all customer information confidentially and does not disclose customer information to unnecessary third parties unless stated in the terms of privacy.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish law.
