You can purchase Samuji products with the shopping bag feature online. You will receive an Order Confirmation by email after placing your order, and a Shipping Confirmation once your order has been sent. Samuji does not guarantee that all items included in the webshop are in stock at the time of your order. In the event that an item is unavailable, we will contact you shortly by e-mail. Your order will be processed and shipped within two working days. Please note that during sale season the delivery time guidelines might not apply.

We cannot guarantee that the colours appearing on the webshop in detail reflect the colours of the items in reality. The colours can be reflected in different ways depending on your screen and computer settings.

If you are unsure whether your transaction has been successful or you do not receive an Order Confirmation, please contact us via email or phone.

By placing an order on www.samuji.com you certify that the purchase is for your personal use only. Samuji reserves the right to cancel any order or limit the sales of our products if Samuji in its sole discretion suspects that these Terms and Conditions are not obeyed. Samuji may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.

We recommend to always purchase products from our website, retail stores or through one of our retail partners, which are listed on our stockists page. Partners not listed on this page have not been vetted through Samuji, and therefore can be assumed as counterfeit. We'd like to advise our customers to be cautious in their purchases and assist them in purchasing a product directly from Samuji or from our trusted retail partners. Kindly note that we cannot accurately advice on product authenticity that does not fall within these guidelines.


Our sizing is based on Scandinavian and German sizes. 


Prices are in euros and include Finnish VAT of 24%. Please note that orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to import customs and taxes, which are applied once your delivery reaches your country. Please contact your local customs service for further information. Samuji is not accountable for any possible import taxes and/or duties. If you refuse to accept the delivery and this causes Samuji additional cost, Samuji has the right to deduct such costs from the amount refunded to you.

Shipping costs will be added to orders under EUR 500; shipping is free on orders of EUR 500 and over.

You can choose a shipping method on the checkout page. All domestic orders will be shipped by Posti and international orders by UPS. You can also pick up your order in Samuji House, Mikonkatu 3, Helsinki. Pick up is free of charge. Please note that if you choose to pick up your order from Samuji House, we retain the orders for 14 working days.

We kindly note that between 29th October and 15th November 2018 there might be minor delays in the order processing/shipping due to Samuji House's move.

If your shipping address is located in the mainland China, and your order total exceeds 500€, your order might require formal entry clearance in China customs. In these cases, our customer service will contact you prior shipping.


Payments can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, Master Card, PayPal or through Internet Bank.

The payments are operated by Maksuturva Group Oy in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. In credit card and bank statements, the payment recipient is Maksuturva Group Oy, that forwards the payment to Samuji Oy.

We hope you are happy with your Samuji purchase. If for any reason whatsoever, you are not satisfied with your order, you can return purchased items within fifteen (15) days from the date you receive them. The products must be returned complete and unused in their original packaging. Shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you've decided to keep them.  An undamaged shoe box is considered part of the product.

Please note that fabrics are made-to-order products and therefore they are non-returnable.

After we have received and accepted the returned items, we will issue a refund following your method of payment. We will refund return costs if the product we have sent you is incorrect or faulty. Refund times depend on your credit or debit card company.

In case your original order contained multiple items and only partial return is made, Samuji does not return the original shipping cost. If you make a full return, the original shipping cost is also refunded.

2.  Group of data subject

Persons signed-up for the Samuji’s mailing list and customers of Samuji’s physical stores and webshop.

3. The purpose of processing personal data

Data protection law in European Union requires a lawful basis for collecting and retaining personal data from citizens or residents of the European Economic Area. These lawful bases include:

1.    Performing a contract between Samuji and customer

2.    Legal compliance with laws and regulations

3.    Legitimate interests ie for running a business, in a way that does not materially impact our customer’s right, freedom or interest.

Personal data stored at Samuji is used for managing the relationships with customers. The collected data may be used for digital marketing purposes and possible future customer satisfaction surveys pursuant to applicable laws.

4. Information Collected

The following data may be processed by Samuji:

a)    customer name, date of birth, gender, e-mail address(es), telephone number(s) and mailing address(es).

b)    information related to the customer relationship, such as date of becoming a Samuji web shop customer or mailing list subscriber, as well as direct marketing permissions and prohibitions

c)    information related to purchases and other communication, services and campaigns directed at and offered to the customer, other communication, and measures related to the customer relationship as well as purchases made in Samuji stores (ie. dates of the purchases and products purchased, number and price of the products purchased and the total sum of purchases).

5. Regular sources of information

Most of the basic information is collected from the data subjects themselves at the beginning of and during the customer relationship. Any possible updates done to information is done by the request of the data subject themselves.

Additional data (ie.purchase history) may be added to the register later by Samuji’s customer register administrator.

6.  Protection of data during transfer

Samuji may disclose personal data within the limitations imposed by effective legislation as follows:

a)    on the basis of a data subject’s consent

b)    to authorized third parties to the extent they participate in the fulfilling of the agreement between Samuji and the customer. Samuji obliges third parties to keep confidential all personal data disclosed to them and to secure such personal data in an adequate manner

c)    on the basis of mandatory legislation.

Disclosures and transfers outside of the European Economic Area:

a)    Samuji may transfer personal data outside of the European Economic Area

b)    for the purpose of fulfilling its obligations, Samuji may transfer customer personal data to internal or external recipients who may be in countries offering different levels of personal data protection

For technical and practical reasons relating to usage, data may be stored on servers of third-party service providers used by Samuji, or such third-party service providers may process data on behalf of Samuji.

7. Rights of the data subjects

Data subjects are, within the limitations imposed by applicable law, entitled to

a)    check what data Samuji has collected of him/her

b)    require that any incorrect, useless, incomplete or outdated information be corrected or removed

c)    prohibit Samuji from processing his/her personal data for the purposes of direct marketing, market research and opinion polls

d)    request a downloadable copy of his/her personal data

e)    request deletion of customer account – Samuji may retain certain information as required by law or as necessary for legitimate business purposes

Data subjects may use their above rights by contacting Samuji at the addresses stated at the beginning of this policy.

8. Retention

Tangible material (paper registration forms) is disposed of after the data has been saved into the register. Before the disposal, the material will be saved in a locked space. Use of the data within the Data Controller’s organisation has been instructed, and access to the personal data file is restricted so that access to the information stored in the system and the right to use that information is only vested in those employees of the Data Controller who have such right on the basis of their work assignments. The data processing system is protected by data protection software for the operating system. Access to the system requires that each user of the register enters a user ID and password.

Samuji will retain customer information as long as customer account is active, as necessary to provide the customer with the services or otherwise set forth in this Policy. Samuji will also retain and use this information as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect Samuji’s rights.

9. Cookies

Samuji uses cookies on its website. There are four main types of cookies in use:

a)    site functionality cookies that allow the customer to navigate the site and use its features

b)    site analytics cookies which allow measuring and analyzing how customers use the site, to improve both its functionality and customer shopping experience

c)    customer preference cookies which remember customer preferences and make the experience of using the site personal and seamless as possible

d)    targeting or advertising cookies which deliver relevant ads to the consumer, limit the number of times an ad is shown to the consumer and helps Samuji to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

By using Samuji site customer agrees that these types of cookies are placed on their device and these are accessed in the future while visiting the site. The customer can delete the cookies. However, deleting or disabling cookies may affect the user experience and customer may not be able to take advantage of certain functions of the site.

10. Links to other websites and services

Samuji website may include links to other websites or services whose privacy may differ from Samuji. When the customer uses a link to an external site or service, the privacy policy and data processing disclosures for that site or service governs over Samuji’s.

11. Data Protection Authority

Subject to applicable law, if customer is a citizen or resident of the European Economic Area, he/she also has the right to

a)    object to Samuji’s use of his/her personal information, and

b)    lodge a complaint with his/her local data protection authority or the European Union Information Commissioner’s Office.
